Amid the start of COVID-19, the Fresno Area Hispanic Foundation launched virtual cohort programs: Latinapreneur (Spanish) and Womanpreneur (English) to specifically help minority women owners pivot during the crisis by helping them move their businesses online, market their products and services on social media platforms that allow them to access new markets, keep their cash flowing and create resilience to survive during the pandemic.
Since the program's launch, more than 700 women entrepreneurs have completed the online training.

The Program's Objective
The program's objective is to build capacity in Marketing, Financial Wellness, and other business development fundamentals during the initial stages of their business. The 8-week program is designed to assist women entrepreneurs with creating a strategic business plan and implementing digital platforms in their day-to-day operations to increase their online presence and overall sales. Each participant receives 16 hours of business consulting and training to generate growth in sales and job creation.
